China and Panama signed MOU on Maritime Scholarship

On June 26, 2019, Chinese Ambassador to Panama, Wei Qiang as Chinese representative and Jorge Barakat, Minister of Panama Maritime Authority signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Sino-Panama Maritime Scholarship.
 

According to the Memorandum, Ministry of Transport of China will offer 5-8 full scholarships for Panamanian students each year to support their study in China for master's degree. Up to now 8 students who have applied for the 2019 Scholarship have been accepted.
